2019/03/31 El Pato Loco

This is my 22th DJ gig inBay Area but the 1st for a brand new event here. Thanks Scott & Hereen for having me DJ for the inaugural milonga at El Pato Loco. It’s a pleasure DJing for a high celling ballroom with professional sound technician monitoring together.

For this new Sunday afternoon milonga, I planned to bring bright and warm atmosphere, and, of course, chacarera as required. The only technical challenge was from the wet mopped floor at the beginning. It took more tandas to fan the floor dry and one more Di Sarli for dancers smooth walking to even out baby powder on the floor before first vals to pivot on. In case you were here early and waited too long for a vals.
